this article involves polytheism and it should be deleted.A Muslim website should not publish articles that indicates Allah takes His creation as a son or a daughter.
Specially note this phrase

Is there a Quranic ayat or hadith to support this story.It sounds like a made up story for illustration purposes
I'll change this sentence. I don't think its from the ahadith or from the Quran. Its just a story to increase iman and to show that Allah is always there. However, if you still think the same, I will delete this post.
It does not increase my Imaan rather makes me worried.On an Islamic website we must not publish matter people cannot look into via Quran and hadith.There is so much matter in Quran and hadith in total completion for mankind that anything outside it is of no use and rather harmful.Allah cannot make any footprints,Allah doesn't lift a man and walk.This total article contains polytheism because it pictures Allah to be a man.Allah is an Omnipotent Being.He doesn't walk like a man but He can be with all of us without a body to carry Him.I am sorry for this but I hope you can see my point.
