When is it that Allah (sw) accepts repentance!

Praise be to Allah! If you committed evil but have repented sincerely, and changed your life around for better, then Allah has certainly promised to grant you mercy and forgiveness. It is one of the basic principles of belief in Islam that Allah is All-Relenting, All-Forgiving and All-Merciful.Allah says

“Didn’t they know that it is Allah who accepts repentance of His servants and forgives sins?” (At-Tawbah: 104).

[Say: ‘O My servants who wronged against their souls, do not despair of Allah’s mercy! For Allah forgives all sins; for He is indeed Forgiving, Compassionate.] (Az-Zumar 39: 53)

“O son of Adam, so long as you call upon Me, and ask of Me, I shall forgive you for what you have done, and I shall not mind. O son of Adam, were your sins to reach the clouds of the sky and were you then to ask forgiveness of Me, I would forgive you. O son of Adam were you to come to Me with sins nearly as great as the earth, and were you then to face Me, ascribing no partner to Me, I would bring you forgiveness nearly as great as it.”

<Hadith Qudsi>

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said,

“Allah accepts the repentance of a person as long as death has not reached his collar bone (i.e., as long as it is not done in the last pangs of death ).”

Did Prophet(peace and blessings be upon him) Repent ?

Yes he also Repent around than 100 times a day … see this hadith…

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said,

“O people! Turn to Allah in repentance and seek His forgiveness, for surely I make repentance a hundred times every day.”

Reported by al-Aghaar ibn Yasaar & collected in Saheeh Muslim (eng. trans. vol.4 p.1418 no.6523).

He accepts it if it meets the following conditions:

1. You must admit the guilt, knowing the prohibition of the act you have done.

2. You ought to feel remorseful for your sinful deeds. This indicates that, from the bottom of your heart, you feel sorry for that mistake.immediately becoming occupied in whatever good deeds that u can in order to wipe out his past sins.

3. If a person happens to be the victim of wrong actions, compensation must be made, i.e., a person robbed of his property, for instance, must be indemnified, either through restitution in integral or by paying back for damages. Thus, to prevent dissension and dispute, people’s rights huquq-l-`ibaad (rights of God’s servants) must be settled.

4. You must make resolution that you will never look back, i.e. you must enter into a sincere covenant with God that you have completely closed those dark pages, and that you will never open them again.

5. And, of course, you must pray to Allah for forgiveness

Repentance, as stated above once accomplished, will undoubtedly wipe out one’s sins, and guarantee him a clean record.

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said,

“One who repents from sin (sincerely) is like one without sin.”

HASAN – Reported by Abu ‘Ubaidah ibn ‘Abdullaah & collected by Ibn Majah Authenticated by al-Albaanee

If the Muslim achieves all these conditions, then repentance will be accepted insha’Allah, without punishment on the Day of Judgment.

rest Allah knows best !

so,Repent as many times as you can,as No one knows When DEATH will knock your door….
